Meet the DraftSight Presenter – John Nolin

Meet John Nolin!

John Nolin

He’s a Technical Representative (AE) for SolidXperts and will be presenting a DraftSight session at SOLIDWORKS World 2017 in Los Angeles next week. His session, “The DraftSight Toolbox – and Tips and Tricks” will help you get more value out of your DraftSight Professional subscription by helping you get familiar with the functionality of the tool.

Not only has he been involved in the 2D CAD industry since the 1980s, but he also was part of the team that developed toolbox and Hole Wizard!

“In 1998 I became part of the team that built CIMLOGIC Toolbox and Hole Wizard for SOLIDWORKS. Eventually SOLIDWORKS purchased CIMLOGIC and I worked directly at SOLIDWORKS for a number of years.”

Why should you attend John’s session?

“The value of Draftsight Toolbox is equivalent to getting the first year or more of DraftSight Professional for free. Anyone in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related field should be using it.”

If you would like to learn more about the DraftSight Toolbox from an expert who helped shape it and pick up some useful tips along the way, be sure to attend John’s session and join the rest of the 2D CAD community at SOLIDWORKS World 2017!
