Simple License Options…

Buying a CAD package shouldn’t involve tearing your hair out trying to understand which package you need and what price it is going to cost you this year.  It should be a simple affair, or at least we here at DraftSight think so!

If you want to buy DraftSight Professional, you have two choices. They are a 12 Month Annual Subscription option or a Non Subscription option.  That’s it, it doesn’t get any more complicated!

So, what are the differences between the two options?  Let me explain.

The 12 Month Subscription allows you to use DraftSight Professional for 12 months and entitles you to download all upgrades during that period. If you decide to renew your subscription every year, you are entitled to the latest version of DraftSight available at that time. If you allow your subscription to expire or decide against renewing it, DraftSight Professional no longer functions.

The Non Subscription option is a one-time purchase. You can use the product as long as you want to and during the first 12 months you get the free upgrades.  After the 12-month period, you can continue to use the version of the product that you purchased, your license doesn’t expire.  If you would like to get future upgrades, there is an option to purchase an annual maintenance fee for €99. Simple really!

That’s it, that is as difficult as we think it should be to keep your CAD licenses up to date. If you haven’t made the move to DraftSight Professional yet, just click on the links below to find out more about it.

The first time I used CAD, it was on a DOS PC with an 8088 processor, 640K of memory and a Hercules Mono Graphics Card... That, well that was a long long time ago. I switched to DraftSight the day it was released and haven't looked back!
