DraftSight 2021 Eases the Transition from AutoCAD – Product Demo

DraftSight offers smarter drafting at the best value – and we’re making a good thing even better with DraftSight 2021! We’re sharing a DraftSight21 product demo with Product Manager Oboe Wu at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021 on DraftSight’s YouTube channel.

DraftSight21 makes it even easier to transition from AutoCAD and similar CAD applications. We know you have existing processes to follow. AutoLISP and Visual LISP are important parts of that process so in DraftSight21 we are excited to announce that we will be supporting Visual LISP from AutoCAD to DraftSight. You can run AutoLISP directly.

DraftSight21 also supports Associative Patterns, like AutoCAD.

You will feel right at home with the familiar user interface and workflows. DraftSight even takes AutoCAD commands.

DraftSight21 also makes it easier to accelerate large and complex projects. The next release will support legacy PDF files, converting those into recognizable and editable DWG files.

At a high level, DraftSight21 takes care of, people, processes, and data.
