3DEXPERIENCE World 2023 is a wrap, and it’s been an incredible three days here in Music City, Nashville! After three years apart, it was a thrilling experience to be back in person and see so many familiar faces.

DraftSight and the Future of Design General Session

DraftSight was on mainstage for the Future of Design General Session, where we heard from Brandon Foster, Senior CAD Administrator at Sealed Air, a global company that specializes in providing packaging solutions for a wide range of industries, including food, healthcare, and e-commerce. Its products are designed to protect and preserve goods during transit and storage, while also minimizing waste and reducing environmental impact.

Sealed Air’s innovative packaging solutions include bubble wrap, foam, and other materials that can be customized to meet the specific needs of its clients. Who can forget the moment when Manish Kumar, SOLIDWORKS CEO, started stomping with delight on the bubble wrap?

In addition to the company’s core business of packaging, Sealed Air also offers equipment, automation, and services to support the entire packaging process. One of the primary benefits of Sealed Air’s use of both DraftSight 2D CAD and SOLIDWORKS is that it enables it to create detailed and accurate technical drawings and schematics of products and structures. We witnessed innovation in action at the Dassault Systèmes booth in the Design Area of The Playground.  We chatted with Nick Dzieron, Customer Role Industry Process Consultant, who showcased how DraftSight is a game-changing solution for customers seeking a better way to manage their production areas.
