DraftSight at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020

It’s not long to go till 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee.  It all kicks off bright and early on Sunday, February 9th at the Music City Center in Nashville.

So, what can you expect from the DraftSight team?  Well, with the forthcoming launch of DraftSight 2020, the DraftSight team will be on hand to answer your questions on the latest release.

There are also a couple of DraftSight related presentations happening over the course of 3DEXPERIENCE World.

Marco Leizza will be giving a presentation entitled What’s New for DraftSight – 2020 on Monday, February 3rd between 10:30am and 11:00am in Room 103C. This talk will cover and array of tools, both new and old, that will enhance the speed of creating drawings in DraftSight 2020.  Marco will also talk about the a new connector between DraftSight 2020 and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for PLM.

On Wednesday, Feruary 12th between 1:30pm and 2:30pm in the Davidson Ballroom B1, Don Glaske will also be presenting at 3DEXPERIENCE World. If you haven’t seen Don’s presentation Essentials of DraftSight – DraftSight for the AutoCAD User, I’d highly recommend it. Topics covered during the presentation include:

  • Clearly realise the ease of transition from AutoCAD to DraftSight.
  • Witness the overwhelming amount of similarities between AutoCAD and DraftSight.
  • Understand which version of DraftSight would best suit your needs and where to download a trial or purchase DraftSight 2019.

Both of these presentations are well worth attending regardless of whether you are a long time user of DraftSight or a complete newcomer to the program.

As always, if you see any of the DraftSight team around, feel free to ask them questions.

Most of all though, we hope you enjoy 3D EXPERIENCE World 2020!

The first time I used CAD, it was on a DOS PC with an 8088 processor, 640K of memory and a Hercules Mono Graphics Card... That, well that was a long long time ago. I switched to DraftSight the day it was released and haven't looked back!
