Meet the DraftSight Presenter – Ram Chilukuri

DraftSight Presenter Ram Chilukuri

It’s safe to say that Ram Chilukuri knows DraftSight inside and out. He’s a Software Development manager for DraftSight and was a part of the R&D team that designed the API (Application Programming Interface).

“I have been using DraftSight for about eight years. In fact, I am managing the development activities right from the Alpha versions.”

Lucky for us, he will be presenting at SOLIDWORKS World 2017 and his Turbocharge DraftSight using the powerful API session is not one to miss.

During his session, Ram will be reviewing how you can enhance your productivity, automate existing work flows, and integrate DraftSight with other applications in your organization using the powerful and customizable APIs. He chose this topic because he wanted “to draw attention of the Professional and Enterprise users to the power of the DraftSight API that is available with their installers.”

Why should you attend Ram’s presentation?

Because, “this session gives users a good idea of the capabilities of DraftSight API and the resources currently available to rapidly develop localized add-ins. I will list out the add-ins already deployed in the field that take advantage of DraftSight API. I will also walk the users through a working add-in and highlight the API interfaces the add-in invokes. Users can learn to use the Visual Studio templates we currently ship to write add-ins to automate their processes.”
